About Charlotte Aumeier
Charlotte Aumeier is Assistant Professor at the Department of Biochemistry, University of Geneva. Cells have a complex actin and microtubule cytoskeleton network essential for many processes in cells: cell migration, division, differentiation. Her research is focused on understanding how the cytoskeleton is organised and regulated in space and time, resulting in functional architecture. Her lab studies the cytoskeleton dynamics, mechanics and interactions using cell lines and isolated proteins.
She joined the NCCR Chemical Biology in 2018 and is a member of the NCCR Chemical Biology Education Committee in charge of the Master programme.
