The NCCR Chemical Biology selected four high-impact chemical biology screening projects to be adapted and screened at the BSF-ACCESS platform (Lausanne) and/or the ACCESS Geneva platform in 2018.
The recipients selected from the 3rd call for screening projects have been announced today. These are :
- Prof. Mathieu Brochet (UNIGE) for his project entitled “Targeting calcium in malaria parasites (TaCalMal)“
- Prof. Jean-Christophe Leroux (ETHZ) for his project entitled “HTS for inhibitors against the barrier to auto-integration factor (BAF) dependent DNA clustering (HTS-BAF)“
- Prof. Philippe Plattet (UNIBE) for his project entitled “Next-generation platform for antiviral drug discovery (i-DiscoVIR)“
- Prof. Till Voos (UNIBAS) for his project entitled “Malaria Sexual Commitment Screen (MaISCS)“
The NCCR Chemical Biology will provide financial support for the Assay development, screening and “Hit-to-lead” process.
