The last ten years have seen extraordinary technical advances in quantitative analysis, high-resolution imaging and -omics approaches, revolutionizing the way cell and developmental systems can be analyzed. These approaches, complemented with analyses borrowed from physics, have shed unprecedented light onto how molecular and cellular properties are harnessed into emergent organism features.
The objective of this EMBO Workshop is to bring together an interactive group of scientists from different disciplines who will present important avenues of research in cell and developmental biology, genome organization, neurobiology, systems biology, biophysics, and evolutionary aspects. The meeting aims to promote exchanges across disciplines, by fostering discussions and interactions. This workshop takes place every three years, and past editions have demonstrated that its broad spectrum and small size generate a lively atmosphere favoring cross-fertilization of ideas and long-lasting interactions.
In addition to the invited speakers, selected abstracts will be chosen for short talks and presented during poster sessions. Registration is limited to 100 participants.
